A Game of Three Questions with the Dirty Girls with Meredith M.

March Madness has set in both on and off the court, and we’ve decided to take a time out and have a little fun. We asked our readers who’ve cooked one of our recipes to snap a pic, tag it as us and post it on Facebook. Our second winner was the lovely Meredith who made our Buttery Soft Pretzel Bites and her prize was the opportunity to ask us any three questions of her choosing. Blush we may have, but we had to answer in full. Here’s how it went down with Eve taking the mic.

If you could have one delicious night with anyone famous, who would it be?

There are so many in the garden of hot chefs to choose from. Aside from Eric Ripert, Curtis Stone would be on my “must mount” list too. He can drizzle hot olive oil annnnnnywhere he likes as far as I’m concerned.

What would you cook for him?

You want ME to cook for these guys? No. They cook for me. What god damn good is it fantasizing about a chef if he doesn’t cook. I’ve been down that path before and let me say, if your Chef ain’t cooking for you, he better be taking you to some damn nice dinners.

What would you drink with him?

It would have to be the most rebellious sparkling wine I know: Chandon Sparkling Red. Girl, its a rich, deep and dirty red. The kind that’s gonna leave a sexy stain on your lips. Plus its all rich and juicy, so it’ll set up the evening perfectly. If that’s all we imbibe and we head straight for the after party, I’d be OK with that too. I’m happy to drink my calories and then burn them off appropriately.

What would you lick off of him? Okay, it’s four questions….gotta push the limits!

How to choose? I’d approach it like a meal which should be eaten without shame. I’d start with slurping the raw oysters right out of his gorgeous mouth. Then, I’d trail my way down an offensive amount of Beluga caviar down his gorgeous chest. And for dessert, I’d go the umami route dollop uni right above his jewels. After that…well…I’d be well prepared for all that extra salty goodness that’s headed my way.

Turning the Tables

We’re not ones to hog the spotlight, as it’s all about getting everyone in on the party. So, we had Meredith answer a couple questions from us.

What inspires you to cook?

Inspired to cook by the look on people’s faces and the sounds they make when I have hit the mark with something tasty. Finger licking, or bowl licking, fabulous.

What would your last meal be?

With that in mind, my meal of choice is baby back ribs, slaw, and some spicy beans. Praying Spring is on its way, this meal is eaten outside. My beverage is a margarita.
